The Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) will be holding the 34th Annual-Virtual Convention of the Psychological Association of the Philippines-Junior Affiliates on May 07, 2021. The theme of this year’s conference is, Transitioning in the new Normal through Psychological Healing and Recovery.
The PAPJA Convention is an annual gathering of Psychology students in the Philippines which serves as an important venue for the sharing of recent developments in the field of psychology as a science, exposure to the practice of psychology through workshops, exchange of ideas, and fellowship. This year, the registration fee is reduced to 500 pesos. For every 50 registrants from your school, there will be 1 free registration for the school’s chaperone. The cost covers participation in the plenary, workshops sessions and culminating activity, and a certificate of attendance.
Purchase of tickets, submission of contest entries, and viewing and registering for workshops are all detailed in the PAPJA website (https://www.papjaph.com). Please feel free to disseminate the website address to your participating students.
This year, we are integrating two payment systems into the PAPJA Convention website, namely credit card payments through PayPal and online banking or over the counter payments through DragonPay (see their website for details https://www.dragonpay.ph/buyers). As your payment is verified, you shall receive an Email containing unique codes necessary for registering for the workshops on the day of the PAPJA convention. Each ticket purchased will have one code that will enable the registration for two workshop. We shall announce when the website will be open for workshop registration using these unique codes.
Furthermore, we shall soon send you a separate letter outlining the call and guidelines for the competitions in the PAPJA Convention. Please note that all contestants to the different competitions (except for Best Thesis) are required to register and attend the convention.
